Chinese calligraphy lesson 2 : Basic stokes

-Understand the basic strokes.

We have to understand how to write the stokes before we write a character. Here we provide the writing analysis of some characters of Dong Fang Shuo Hua Zan. The writing analysis of other ties are similar.

Now let's look at how to write how to write "heng", "pie", "na". In the graph, the center line is the tail of the tip of the brush. That's the movement of your hand also.

After you master these basic strokes, you can go to Chinese calligraphy lesson 3 : More basic stokes.
