Bridal gift

It's hard to give a bridal gift. Because it's hard to find what somebody else really like. And it's even harder to find someone likes and don't cost you a fortune.

Chinese people sometimes like to give expensive bridal gifts. Chinese people think the more expensive bridal gift they give, the more they care. That's actually not a good habit. A great bridal gift should be expressing your thought and not costing a fortune.

The greatest Chinese calligrapher Wang Xizhi improved his calligraphy a lot after he traveled from south part of China to the north. He said later that it is kind of waste of time to only study Mrs. Wei's calligraphy.

Chinese calligraphy are popular in China for thousands of years. People decorate rooms with Chinese calligraphy just like painting.

And outside of the rooms, you can see Chinese calligraphy works in tablets and sign of shops everywhere in China. In China, it's an unwritten regulation to have good Chinese calligraphers to write notes, signs and anything of events, small or big.

Chinese calligraphy are never been more popular in the western world. I met some people who practiced Chinese calligraphy for years and loved it, without even knowing what the characters meaning.

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

It is he that giveth salvation unto who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

But later, as they found that Chinese characters have something more than just a good looking, Chinese calligraphy was born. The invention of Chinese brushes greatly pushed the development of Chinese calligraphy as an art.

Chinese calligraphy is not just writing Chinese characters. It is not just writing Chinese well. It is not just writing Chinese characters beautifully.
