Golden anniversary gift idea

It's hard to give a golden anniversary gift idea. Because it's hard to find what somebody else really like. And it's even harder to find someone likes and don't cost you a fortune.

Chinese people sometimes like to give expensive golden anniversary gift ideas. Chinese people think the more expensive golden anniversary gift idea they give, the more they care. That's actually not a good habit. A great golden anniversary gift idea should be expressing your thought and not costing a fortune.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

Chinese calligraphy come from writing Chinese characters. The Chinese characters come from the painting. At the very beginning, people have an intuition about writing Chinese characters well.

Chinese calligraphy are different from other calligraphy works. Chinese calligraphy is painted by special calligraphy paper (Xuan paper), special brush and special ink.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

The greatest Chinese calligrapher Wang Xizhi improved his calligraphy a lot after he traveled from south part of China to the north. He said later that it is kind of waste of time to only study Mrs. Wei's calligraphy.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

I will sing a new song unto thee, O upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

It is he that giveth salvation unto who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
